Engine bearings, for your HIGH HP cars....

We will have them end of this coming week. First in the nation is what I have been told.

Calico coated tri-metal bearings that are good for 800 + WHP. Thats what I am being told. These bearings are for those few that want the best of the best. These are not the coated Mopar bearings that others have claimed to be the best. These are the real McCoy, a true tri-metal that can take the beatings of high HP SRT4's.

How much? $299 + shipping for the engine sets and you can buy them separate if needed (cost is a bit more). I will get them added to the site when they show up so you will all be able to order them when they come in. Thanks.

These are cheaper directly from Calico, so I don't understand what the savings are ...

And Calico has the H series bearings that are tri-metal? Nope, these are brand new and I have been waiting over a year for them. The Calico uses stock bearings and just coats them. You do understand that Calico is just a coating process not a bearing builder correct?

These bearings are ran in top fuel car as well as Nascar vehicles. I had to place my order back in July of 06 in order to get the 25 sets I have coming to me.

I just checked and you can only get them in the ACL brand lable for our car, not the tri-metal race series bearing. That is the difference and its a big one at that. I could coat stock bearings and sell them for 1/2 of what I am offering here (stock is more or less ACL) and even be under the Calico price. Its the cost of the bearings that is driving the price up on these. I have been sitting on motor builds because of the dealys with getting these bearings, now I will have happy customers.

are you speaking of like clevite's "P" and "H" bearings? If so many are using stock or Clevite "P" bearings and making well over 500whp w/o issues, personally thats what I'm running also and my machine shop recomends the same for most of there motors.

Basically just trying to figure what "market" these are for, not many have 800HP, only 1 thats DCR that I know of and its a drag car only.

Yes and the H series are brand new to the market. Are they needed??? Its all personal opinion on that. Why get parts ceramic coated or why buy big wheel upgrades for stock turbos? There are many whys and if a set of Calico coated "P" series bearings run $200 then paying an additional $99 could be considered insurance? Again these are something that I ordered up over a year ago and they just came in.

As far as the 800 WHP only needing these or "market". People are buying $300 head studs, $100 head gaskets, ect ect. and for what? More power? No peace of mind. If there is something better then why not use it?

I am curious about your P series bearings...are you sure (100%) that they are Clevite units? I only ask this because they had a huge back order on the thrust bearings for the SRT4 that took over 4 months to get filled. Just something I thought I would share.

Yes I installed them my self from the box to the block in my garage. Bought them last year. They are for a 96 2.4.

I not 100% sure about this but I have been told that the 2.4 bearings have a different grove to feed the thrust then the SRT4 bearings. Thus being why there was such a long wait time on getting these bearings to us. They have different parts numbers from Dodge and Clevite so something must be different.
