During boosting i can hear a flutter of air flow.. which sounds like a major leak but im still holiding about 17-19psi at WOT. Ive checked every hose and vac line i possibly can and cannot seem to find the source. ive also recently hit 100k, could this be due to a part needing replacement? i just did the valve cover gasket today and its still there. what else could be causing this

6-7? hundred? thousand rpm??? well you shouldnt be going WOT under 3000 rpm or you will get compressor surge i.e. flutter (turbo being the size it is spools up really quick and sends air through to the engine faster then what the computer can handle, so the air is shot back out of the engine and back to the turbo trying to spin the turbine backwards while the air getting sucked in is still trying to spin the turbine the right way, this causes that flutter noise which is bad for turbo and engine)
and if you have an aftermarket intake it will be heard more than it would with the stock plastic intake

That what I did, I'm on PCM boost now. You won't have to mess with boost by rpm. Your on the stock turbo. In 3000 RPM I spike to 18-19 hold to 16 @ 6000 RPM
