Being a former 'maro owner I find it hard to believe you even hung with him with those said mods.

I smell the BS flag on mod lists on both cars but cool race nonetheless
no bullshit here. watch some of my other races, either under may screen name on streetfire (kliped) or under my buddies screen name (andrew05c)

He has been selling us this stock wga shit for awhile now. Either he can cough up his secret or the flag will come out.

Did you buy this 20psi stock wonder used?
yes i did, the previous owner was a 40 year old guy who drove it back and forth between work.
okay... I would look the car over again to see why it boosts 20psi "stock". Being that the previous owner is 40 and it was his daily driver does not mean he never modified it. Even if he told you he didn't touch the car I would still go ahead and take a look. You may look at this as some sort of gift right now but down the road it can potentially lead to some expensive damage.

you love to troll the video forum and say BS u dont know about. Like when u told me my car was slow cause I lost to a CTS-V which come to find out was Supercharged. V8 SC and you told me you smoke those slow v6's all the time...great sig quote though.
Nice Kill on the Video.

me: almost all stock, just have a cai and for some reason my stock wg is allowing 20lbs. i also have the exhaust taken off from the cat.

camaro: jasper 351 motor, slightly bigger than stock cam, header and side exit exhaust.

God damn did you guys even read his fucking post? He said the exhaust was taken off from the cat, so obviously it is going to spike higher and pull timing without a tune, or supporting mods. 20 still seems a bit high, either way this guy is losing power.

Also z28's are quite a bit slower than SS fbody's

i dont doubt your car at all. i just know that there is something wrong with that camaro. with his mods, he should walk you. he must need that thing tuned or something of that nature...

I don't think there is anything wrong with the camaro. There is definately something else with the neon. He's been claiming stock for a long time. I'm throwing :bs2: . Show us the pic again of your engine. Let everybody decide if its stock. Just because you can't see a mod. Doesn't mean its stock!

20psi on stage 0? :jester: Yeaaaaah, ok.

As for a z28 being slower than an SS? Source?
Roq99 is probably talking about the LT1 model.

To the thread starter: You should really look in to stopping that much boost from building on stage 0. Your computer must be going crazy pulling timing and your knock count must be of the scale. Holding 20 psi on stage 0 is not a good idea if you dont have the supporting mods. Your wastegate must have been damaged somehow in order to hold that much boost.

My friend has beet to LS1 maros and he only has a boost controller, BOV w hardpipe, 3 inch DP (no cat), and CF hood.

You're wasting your breath. There's an entire thread talking to him about this and he denies everything saying his tune (like you can tune stock) is safe. Hence, his car is modded and won't admit it.

Reducing exhaust back pressure on the SRT-4 very rarely results in having long term timing being pulled when everything else is "stock". The pcm will eventually realize the boost spike and the pcm will make proper adjustments to compensate for the reduction in back pressure. You may see a 20psi spike and timing being pulled initially after the rear portion of the exhaust is removed but the pcm will eventually readjust and the boost pressure will drop some as well as the timing going back to normal.

seems pretty safe to me...11.5-11.9 a/f (never went above that, i was also told the sniffer on the dyno reads half a point lean) plugs are the perfect color, no hesitations, stutters or audible knocks. perfect compression 155psi across the board. what else do you want?
